Josh Robison is a 25-year public assembly facility professional. Starting his career with Leisure Management International (LMI) and then SMG (now known as ASM Global), he has diverse experience in engineering, operations, construction, FF&E, project management and event planning. He was also instrumental in the construction and pre-opening for numerous facilities around the country.
For Venue Solutions Group, Josh currently manages construction RFI’s (requests for information) from the project team at the Los Angeles Stadium and Entertainment District (the new Los Angeles Rams and Chargers stadium). Most recently, in Cleveland, he monitored multiple construction projects as part of the overall $180M transformation for Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, home of the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers.
In 2018 Josh was also deployed for the firm as the interim VP of Operations at State Farm Arena in Atlanta during their $200M renovation, managing and coordinating all facility operations, engineering, housekeeping, maintenance, and life safety work related to construction as well as events.
Prior to joining VSG, Josh served as Director of Engineering for the Georgia World Congress Center Authority. He was responsible for all areas of the facility engineering, project management, and tradeshow utility service installations for the 3.9 million square foot Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) and the 22-acre Centennial Olympic Park on their 200-acre campus in downtown Atlanta. Josh and his team played a key role in the GWCC achieving LEED Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in 2014, and he was also instrumental in the $28M Energy Savings Performance Contract that the GWCC entered into in 2015.
