VSG was engaged for both Pre and Grand Opening Consulting and our Premium Solutions People services.
The scope of work took place over the span of two years, through design, construction, Grand Opening, and in-season assessment, and after-action review and recommendations.
Our Pre and Grand Opening Consulting project efforts entailed a wide variety of areas that included plan reviews, command center configuration and organization, creating event policies and procedures, coordinating affected university departments, creating operating and long term capital budgets, signage review, event staffing, determining furniture/fixtures/equipment needs, training premium services staff, keying schedule, location of ATM’s, and contributing to discussions regarding television production.
Transitioning to our Premium Solutions People expertise, VSG assisted with expanding the Texas A&M premium seating program to accommodate the addition of new luxury suites. Included in the scope of work: the creation of event staff training materials; suite administrator training materials; departmental operational systems and policies and procedures; staffing plans and post orders for concierge staff; planning and conducting job fairs for event staff in surrounding cities; and pre-opening and opening day events.
